K.B.L International Services Inc. with its head office in New Brunswick was established in 2003 in Saint John. In 2006, K.B.L. opened the Chinese Commerce Centre in a 200 year old building they purchased and renovated. The 15000 m2 Chinese Commerce Centre and Kent Theatre are well known landmarks in Saint John attracting newcomers and locals to a variety of events. The Chinese Commerce Centre has meeting and conference space, a full Chinese restaurant, office space, French and English support classes, Tai Chi classes and the 450 m2 Kent Theatre. The Kent Theatre was recognized in 2016 for its support of the Multicultural Community in the Saint John region.

Our Team of Professionals
Ms. Shirley Bin Liu
Vice President of K.B.L International Services Inc. and North American Chartered Accountant. Ms. Liu is very familiar with North American Immigration processing and has often been invited by Immigration Canada to participate in the revision of documents. Ms. Liu is chiefly responsible for program devising and document processing for Investor Immigration class and Entrepreneur Immigration class files. Ms. Liu is an expert in North American and Chinese financial systems and by-laws. She has been invited by the Association of North America Chartered Accountants to lecture a senior accounting course for Chinese applicants who are pursuing the North American Chartered Accountants credential.
Mr. William Gandy
Mr. Gandy graduated from the University of New Brunswick in 1979 with a Law Degree. He began articling with Gilbert Mc Gloan Gillis that same year and in November 1979 was admitted to the New Brunswick Bar. He continued to work for Gilbert Mc Gloan Gillis until 1982 when he established his own firm. Mr. Gandy has hundreds of hours of volunteer service in the community including John Howard Society, Cherry brook Zoo and Saint John Kiwanis. As well, Mr. Gandy holds a real estate license strictly for his own education and so he could better understand the purchase and sale process. In 2012 he was appointed to the Property Law Advisory Committee for the Province to review and update the property law process. Mr. Gandy is currently legal advisor and director for K.B.L. International Services Inc. He provides legal services including property transactions, incorporations and general legal advice for new immigrants. With more than 35 years as a lawyer clients appreciate his knowledge and expertise as well as his sense of humour.
Mr. Julien Saint-Georges
Julien graduated from Montreal University in Canada. He has a bachelor's degree in Law and a bachelor's degree in Anthropology. He also received Law and Language training at China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing and Nankai University in Tianjin. He speaks fluently Chinese, French and English and he has a professional immigration experience. With more than 10 years of experience in the field of Canadian immigration, he has assisted a large number of clients with their immigration applications and interviews over the years. Julien has a vast experience with Canadian immigration programs; his professionalism and dedication is very welcomed by clients.
Mr. Shane Cassidy
Shane graduated from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton with degrees in French language and Business Administration. He has 20 years experience working for an international petroleum company as well as working for a local non-profit social enterprise. In addition to his work life he has volunteered hundreds of hours with Junior Achievement and taught business planning at the YMCA. He is the current chair of the Parent School Support Committee at the West Side School his children attend as well as serving on numerous committees through this role. For the past ten years he has worked in a business consulting role for K.B.L. International Services Inc. working with new immigrants. He is Director of KBL International Services Canadian Headquarters. His business knowledge as well as his knowledge of New Brunswick is appreciated by newcomers.
